VCNL36828P integrates a proximity sensor and a 940 nm VCSEL (Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) in a 2.0x1.0x0.50 mm package. It incorporates photodiodes, amplifiers, analog/digital circuits with excellent IR noise suppression spectrum.
VCNL36828P provides excellent temperature compensation and maintains a stable output over temperature. PS functions is easily operated via the simple command format of I2C (SMBus compatible) interface protocol. Sensor supply voltage ranges from 1.65 V to 2.0 V. The sensor is assembled in a lead-free 6-pin molding package which offers the best market-proven reliability.
